Monthly minutes and renewals
Monthly minutes reset at renewal and unused monthly minutes expire at the end of the billing period. Your balance follows your account when you connect another Mac.
See usage for each session
Open Settings → Usage to see time spent in Scribe and Scribe + Assist and the minutes used. Earlier shared-allowance sessions keep their original accounting. This history comes from your account, so deleting a recording from your Mac leaves its usage entry intact. See how usage is counted.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Monthly plans renew automatically until canceled. Checkout shows the final price, applicable taxes and renewal details before confirmation. Cancel through Settings → Billing → Manage billing to stop the next renewal; your current monthly allowance lasts until its expiry.

What does Assist do?
Assist follows the conversation and researches things that could help, from unfamiliar names to facts and useful questions. Answers and source links appear in the floating window, without waiting for you to write a prompt. See how Assist works.
What audio does lisnio capture?
You choose your sources before a session: your microphone for you and nearby speech, speaker audio for sounds playing on your Mac, or a selected app for that app’s audio. Combine your microphone with remote audio to hear both sides of a call. Choose audio sources.
Is lisnio always listening?
No. Start a session yourself or enable automatic starts when your microphone is in use. You can limit automatic starts to selected apps. Pause stops capture; Stop listening ends the session. Hiding the floating window does not stop listening. Read about listening controls.
What happens to my audio and transcripts?
Saved transcripts and audio recordings are stored in your workspace on your Mac. We don’t store audio recordings on our servers. Live audio is processed online for transcription, and relevant text goes to AI services for research with Assist, and for titles and summaries in both modes. Your account keeps usage records and synced session titles. Read the privacy policy.
How do Scribe and Scribe + Assist work?
Scribe keeps a transcript, session title and summary. Add Assist for useful research and answers, then switch back whenever you want. The same conversation keeps recording, and existing answers remain available. Read the mode guide.
What happens when Assist minutes run out?
With separate allowances, lisnio continues in Scribe if Scribe minutes remain. Assist stays unavailable until more Assist minutes are available. The same rule applies to manual and automatic starts. If both balances run out, listening pauses and saves the captured conversation.
How does the free trial work?
Your trial includes 150 Scribe minutes and 15 Assist minutes. Trial minutes expire 7 days after your first session. No card needed. Billing shows your current minutes and available plans.
