Find and revisit recordings
Open saved transcripts, Assist answers and available audio.
Open your library
Choose Recordings from the lisnio menu bar menu or return to the app’s home screen. Select a recording to open its conversation. Use Search recordings to narrow the library list.
The session page contains a Summary beside the saved transcript. When answers were received while Assist was on, use the Summary and Answers tabs to switch between them. A conversation can contain both Scribe and Scribe + Assist time. Its usage breakdown shows time in each mode. Both modes get an automatic title and summary after End. Older recordings with a saved transcript offer Create summary; they are not summarized automatically.
Saved audio stays on your Mac for playback when it was recorded with Save audio recordings locally on. This setting starts on for new installations; sessions recorded with it off have no saved audio file.
Rename or export
Rename a session from its title on the session page. From a recording’s menu, choose Export Markdown for a readable file containing saved conversation material. Finder reveals the exported file.
A rename also updates the title in Settings → Usage after syncing. Your own title takes priority over an automatically generated one. Offline changes wait for the original account to reconnect. Learn how usage titles work.
Exports are separate copies. If you later edit or delete the original conversation, that does not remove a copy you exported or shared.
Hidden and recovered recordings
Hide from library removes a recording from the normal listing without deleting its files. Use the hidden-recordings view to find it again and choose Show in library.
An interrupted session can appear as Recovered. Opening it does not restart capture. Check its saved contents before starting a new session.
For recoverable or permanent removal, see Remove and restore conversations.
