Your first session
Connect your account, choose what lisnio hears and start a conversation.
Set up in three steps
-
Connect your account. Open Settings → Account and choose Sign in with email. Enter the code sent to your email in the browser, then return to lisnio. If you have an existing invitation, use the invitation option in Account.
-
Choose your audio sources. Open Settings → Listening. Use your microphone for nearby speech and speaker or selected-app audio for remote participants. Review audio sources before starting.
During initial setup, audio saving and automatic listening are under Advanced options.
-
Choose a mode and start. Check your Scribe and Assist balances in Settings → Billing. Choose Scribe for a transcript or Scribe + Assist to add researched answers, then start listening. You can switch during the same conversation. If Assist minutes are unavailable and Scribe minutes remain, listening starts in Scribe.
Eligible new accounts can try lisnio without a card. Billing shows the trial’s included minutes and expiry before you start.
During the conversation
Keep listening on while you read answers or the transcript. A pause in speech does not require you to stop the session. Use Pause when you want capture and new research to stop, then Resume to continue that conversation. You can choose the mode while paused.
When you finish
Use Stop listening to finish and save the conversation. Open Recordings to revisit its transcript and answers. The Save audio recordings locally setting starts on for new installations and keeps recordings on your Mac for playback. You can turn it off in Settings → Workspace before a session.
Scribe keeps the transcript without new research. Settings → Usage shows the listening time and minutes used in each mode from your account history.
