## What it does

lisnio is a Mac app that looks things up while you talk. It listens during conversations you choose and shows short answers with sources, without waiting for you to type a question.

Keep talking while lisnio looks up useful names, facts and questions. You choose when it listens and can pause or end a conversation. It can miss things or get an answer wrong; check the linked sources and use your own judgment.

## Features

- Short researched answers with sources during a conversation.
- Transcription on its own, or transcription with research assistance.
- Listening controls and saved conversations you can return to.

## Availability and requirements

Available for Mac from [lisn.io](https://lisn.io/). Requires macOS 26 or later, an Apple silicon or Intel Mac, and an internet connection. Transcription and research use online processing. See the [privacy information](https://lisn.io/privacy/) for data handling and listening controls.

| Pro | $89/month | 240 minutes | 2,400 minutes |

## About the illustrations

The Paris examples are animations explaining the product. Their timing is edited; they are not footage from a live call or a measure of response speed.

Text alternative: An animated Mac shows lisnio following a conversation about Paris. A question about visiting the Louvre on Tuesday becomes an answer that the museum is closed on Tuesdays. A calendar reinforces the closure. The conversation moves to Disneyland Paris; the next answer and route illustration identify the RER A train and Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy. The film ends with “Answers, without asking,” the lisnio logo and lisn.io.
